Denton Bootcamps! aka FitCamp
30 07 2009Hey guys, I’m getting everything put together to run my first bootcamps aka FitCamp and I’m looking for the best time to run them. If you would’t mind clicking on the poll and letting me know the best time for you to attend that’d be awesome! The camps will be on Monday, Wednesday, Friday at first but as things grow I’ll be adding more and more days!
Also, I’m looking at having a women’s only class and a coed class. Please let me know what you would prefer.

Calories, The Right Way to Count ‘em
27 07 2009Tired of counting calories and not even knowing why or what you are counting? Well hopefully you read my Simple Guide to Eating Healthier. In it you learn the basics of Carbs, Protein, Fats and Fiber but how much of each do you need a day? It really depends on your current weight, age, height and activity level. I’ll break down the easiest way to calculate your daily caloric intake using the Mifflin – St Jeor Equation which gives you your RMR, Resting Metabolic Rate, and from there I’ll show you how to figure out just how much of your diet should come carbs, protein and fats.
*I know it’s a pain in the butt to do the calculations, I’m working on getting a calculator put on here, but if you want your daily caloric needs calculated just send me an email @ Kevin.ExcelFit@gmail.com with your weight, height, age, and the number of times you workout a week and I’ll reply ASAFP! I’ll also let you know how many grams of carbs, protein and fats you need to consume each day.
